Accommodation
Accommodation will be arranged for you in advance, and the details will be shared with you before you arrive. You will receive a Welcome Pack with essential information, including accommodation details, local activity recommendations, commuting tips, health advice, and other useful guidance to help you settle for your internship in the UK.
IAESTE UK will source you a furnished private room in a house shared with mixed gender, young professionals, that is within a reasonable commute of the workplace. We will ensure that your rent and bills (gas, electric, water, Wi-Fi) are paid for each month along with all upfront costs, including agency fees and deposits, along with any documents that need signing.
Refundable Deposit
Within 48 hours of signing your acceptance note, you’ll be asked to pay £200 refundable deposit confirming your commitment to your placement. After successfully completing your internship in the UK and leaving the accommodation clean and tidy, we will return the deposit within 2 working days of the landlord returning the deposit to IAESTE UK.
In case of any damages or cleaning costs to the accommodation, the deposit will be deducted or not refunded at all.
